Essential Bedding Terminology – Educate Yourself When Shopping For Your New Bedding

by Jared More

You may be searching for Bedding for your home, or plan to in the future. When shopping for bedding you may come across different terms for parts of the bed, mattress sheets or other aspect of the sleep set that you may be unfamiliar with. This article is designed to educate you in Essential Bedding Terminology so that when you look for bedding you can make an educated and informed purchase. These terms are not all encompassing but should cover the most common expressions you will come across.

While most of us are familiar with the most common elements of bedding ensembles there are other terms to consider.

Bedding- used to describe an entire ensemble including sheets, pillows, comforters and accessories.

Canopy- a fabric that is suspended above the bed often using posts.

Coverlet- a general term describing a bed covering, includes, comforter, duvets, quilts, bedspread and blanket.

Duvet- used to describe a warm and comfortable coverlet that is filled with down feathers.

Matelassé- a fabric which has quilt like indentations.

Quilt- a coverlet which is made from pieces of fabric sewn together with decorative cross-stitching.

Synthetic- artificially created material that is not found in nature.

Thread Count- the number of horizontal and vertical threads per square inch.

Before you start looking for your bedding set you may be looking for the physical sleep set. A sleep set includes the mattress, box spring, headboard, footboard and foundation. Here are some terms that you will frequently come across when shopping for a new sleep set.

Bed frame- a frame that maintains the position of the foundation, headboard and footboard

Box springs- a common term used to describe a foundation which has springs inside a wooden frame.

Coil configuration- the pattern of the spring arrangements in a mattress.

Feather bed- a soft think mattress top layer that is filled with down or feathers.

Futon- a thin mattress that is placed on a movable frame that can be converted from couch to bed.

Filling- the term used to describe the material that occupies the mattress, pillow or comforter. This can make a great difference in the quality and comfort of the item.

Firmness- the amount of resistance that a mattress has relating to body weight. Determines the amount of give the mattress will have.

House Brand- A retailer’s custom brand which only they offer.

Mattress- the actual sleep surface of the bed.

Ticking- the fabric which surrounds the layers of the mattress on the outside.

Shopping for bedding can be, believe it or not, a fun experience. Especially when you know what you are looking for. Remember that when you are looking for your new bedding ensemble or sleep set that not everyone offers the same quality products. The decisions you make on bedding will affect your comfort for years to come. Educating yourself a little before hand and researching your options will help you make a better decision that will ultimately improve your comfort. In addition to researching the different types of bedding you should also check out who you are buying it from. You can save yourself a lot of time and money by going with the right retailer. http://www.ajmoss.com.

Clothes Shopping in Spain

by Susan Pedalino

No need to diet!

As Northern European women we tend to be taller and larger framed than our Latin counterparts. This can sometimes prove to be problematic when clothes shopping in Spain. It can be disheartening to discover that you have gone up a couple of dress sizes since arriving in Spain.

Don’t panic, you don’t need to resort to low fat, low carb or low calorie just yet. The sizes are definitely smaller and vary greatly. The good news is for tall women, as trouser legs tend to be long as many stores offer a cheap, alteration service, which everyone seems to use.

Personally, in the UK I am a Next 10/12, whereas in Spain a size 42 (14) jeans positively grips my thighs. In fact in the UK I would fall into the “slim” category but in Spanish fitting rooms I have almost had to be surgically removed from trousers whilst they tell me that they are the biggest size that they do.

Super slim Shop Assistants

Ironically, it goes against our traditional notion of Latin women being, well, shall we say, on the curvaceous side. On the contrary, if you look at the staff employed in women’s fashion shops, they are mostly petite and incredibly svelte. If you have a good look around, especially places like Marbella, there seems to be a clear connection between wealth and slimness. It seems that as wealth increases, weight decreases. Therefore, you will find that a lot of the boutiques around Marbella, especially around Puerto Banus, stock very tiny skimpy clothes.

Choice

There isn’t the vast selection of high street names that we are used to as people still enjoy shopping in individual shops which stock just a few sizes of each item. As you can imagine, if you shop this way, it can be pretty expensive as such shops do not enjoy the economies of scale that the monopolising groups such as the Arcadia Group do.

Stores such as Zara have been very successful due to the Japanese, automotive methods that they employ. The average turnaround for design through to shop floor is just three weeks. Their ability to keep up with the latest trends and replicate catwalk looks explains their popularity. They are always packed, especially on a Saturday and by the end of the evening the stores look completely ransacked. Their main drawback is that they cater only for the size 8 to 12. I wear a UK size 10 for tops but in Zara I wear an L (large), the only size up being an XL.

Who shops where?

You just need to look at the shop window displays and you instantly know the target age, unlike in the UK, where anyone can find anything appropriate to their age from 14 to 64 in “trendy” shops such as New Look. So, in that sense, you could say that there is a lot of age segregation.

Shops such as Berska are evidently against anyone over a size 10 and over the age of 25. Zara, on the other hand, attempts to satisfy a wider age range by splitting its stores into three departments. Zara Basic is targeted at the 21 to 35 age group with a good range of basics mixed with the latest trends. The durability of most products is probably one season if washed once per week.

The prices are very reasonable, with a pair of smart/casual trousers costing around 25 euros and cotton tops around 15. Zara woman is targeting an older age group in a higher income bracket. The quality is better and the designs are more sophisticated. For the casual/funky teens and students, there’s TRF, which is very young, eclectic, cheap and tiny. Zara also do menswear and children’s wear. They offer an alteration service for their clothes. A basic shortening of trouser leg costs about 4 euros.

Mango is another high fashion chain targeting the 20 to 35 range. The quality is similar to Zara but can be slightly pricier. Again, the sizes are small.

Promod targets a 35 group. It is on a par with Principles and Wallis. Lots of smart casual clothes and patterned tops. Again, a UK 12 would need a size 42. They also have great, reasonably priced accessories including jewellery, bags, shoes and belts.

Massimo Duttii appeals to smart but casual, classic, preppy, successful thirty somethings. The quality is very good but they don’t follow high fashion trends like Zara.

El Corte Ingles is the main department store which stocks designers ranging from Morgan to French Connection for 20s and 30s. There are also Spanish designers and some familiar names from the UK department stores such as Liz Claiborne I always find it a bit disappointing and very expensive.

Bargains

If you plan to check out the high street sales in Spain, you might be disappointed. Big discounts i.e. 50% are scarce, as most stores only offer 20%. There are two sales per year summer and January. One thing is for sure, when shopping in Spain, you don’t need to worry that your clothes might be discounted next week as often happens in the UK. Clothes shops just don’t do promotional offers as there isn’t the same amount of competition on the high street.

Below is a conversion chart to enable you to find your Spanish size when clothes shopping. These sizes are the “equivalents” but be warned there is a lot of variation and you might need a size bigger!

I would suggest that when trying on clothes take a range of sizes in with you and try not to look at the size label too much as it really doesn’t mean much. Concentrate on the fit and remember that many shops have an alteration (arreglos) service if you ask.

Safety - Online Shopping Tips

by William M Hall

Shopping on the internet offers numerous benefits that you won't find shopping in a store or by mail. There are no lines to wait in, no automobile traffic, no conflicts with salespeople, and the most liked benefit is that many times consumers can purchase online without sales tax. However, there are some things that the consumer should be aware of because the internet does have its hidden dangers. I've listed the 5 most important tips that should be followed by anyone wishing to "Shop Online".

1. Use a secure internet connection. Before making a purchase, make sure that the website owner has icons indicating that it has software programs and security in place.

2. Use a credit card for payment. By using a credit card, you the purchaser are protected by the Fair Credit Billing Act which will allow you to dispute any charges that your are unfamiliar with.

3. Do a search for reviews of the vendor by people that have previously done business with the company. Keep in mind that most people don't leave reviews unless they have an unpleasant experience, but it will give you some general idea of the reliability of the seller.

4. Print a copy of your purchase confirmation sheet. The time you fail to get a printout of your confirmation is the time that you won't receive the email confirmation whether it be for entering a bad email address or whatever reason. Always keep this confirmation until the product arrives.

5. Inspect the merchandise upon receipt. Compare the item to what you ordered. If it took days to weeks to receive your purchase, refer back to the confirmation sheet. It is usually a good source to the original description of the item.

If you follow these steps, you will reduce the possibility of having a BAD shopping experience on the internet. Happy Shopping!

William Hall has been involved with establishing online shopping activities by use of online malls and is currently the Webmaster of http://www.outlet-stores-online.com - an online shopping mall with numerous outlet stores.

How To Shop For Cheap Life Insurance

by Monty Loree

I'm going to explain to our readers how they can get cheap life insurance by shopping online.

If you've done any shopping for life insurance you know that prices for life insurance policies can fluctuate a great deal with different companies.

It turns out that life insurance are based on three basic factors.

AGE
HEALTH RISKS
ACTIVITY RISKS

START WITH STANDARD RATE:

Life insurance carriers start off with their standard rate for a person of your age. Assuming that your health is perfect and there is no other risk associated with you, you'll get the same price as every one else who has perfect health and no risk associated with them.

NEXT STEP: TAKE A MEDICAL

A medical will tell the insurance company if you've got any serious health issues which could make you a higher risk, mortality wise.

FINALLY: RISKY ACTIVITIES

After assessing your health situation, the life insurance company wants to know if you're involved in higher risk activities with your job or hobbies etc.

Some of the the risky activities are being an pilot, doing scuba diving, sky diving etc. Activities that have the risk of death associated with them.

HERE'S THE CURIOUS PART:

Understanding that risks are risks, your real risk assessment to one life insurance company is the same for the next life insurance company. ie.. you're not going to die any faster for one life insurance company than another, to put it graphically.

WHY HIGHER PRICES WITH CERTAIN COMPANIES?

Based on the discussion above, certain companies might assess risk differently and want to charge differently than other companies.

Companies specialize in different areas

I've heard of companies that like to specialize in certain health risks more so than others. Thus they would charge lower for those health risks than other companies because they have more experience assessing the risk.

As with every industry, those who specialize in certain areas of their field can generally offer better prices and better services than other companies. The same is true for life insurance.

Some companies charge higher commissions

Some companies use sales people who go out and market in the traditional way. These sales people need to make more per commission because their process is slower. Thus the insurance company needs to charge a higher rate to compensate their insurance reps.

Some life insurance agencies (such as the ones we deal with) don't use traditional sales methods. They rely on services such as ours to find them people interested in purchasing life insurance on the internet. They work with the customer over the phone and thus their costs are much lower.

Not only that, these agencies can get pricing from many different life insurance carriers. They are able to shop from the companies that specialize in your particular risk.

I was chatting with a life insurance expert from Conservest today and asked him the following question: "Why does one company charge more than another"

Conservest Answer: No reason. The prices are set by the company based on their personal mortality tables and if one company charges more it's becuase they see a high risk. They are constantly changing and updating in most cases they are going down.

"and prices are based on Age and Health, they use the medical to confirm your health class and the premium is based on that. If you don't fit in you could be rated and have to pay more then the Standard rate."

THE BOTTOM LINE:

If you're shopping for cheap life insurance, it's really important to spend some time at it. Signing up for a quote on this site will help out the process.

Our agents will shop many different life insurance carriers for you and get you the best quote for your age and risk situation.

We advise that you ask the insurance company that you're looking at buying from if they specialize in life insurance for your situation. After doing a little digging you will probably save money and get cheap life insurance!

Ten Things You Should Know Before You Go Shopping For That Special Ring

by Richard W. Wise

Rings symbolize lasting love, but there are so many choices to navigate – gold or platinum? An original design or an antique? – that it’s difficult to know how to pick the best ring. Learn the criteria for purchasing a top-notch ring, and like your relationship, if it is a quality ring, it should grow richer and more beautiful with age.

If you don’t know the product, know your jeweler. What you don’t want is a pretty face in a pin-striped suit. Ask questions, and if you don’t like the answers, move on. If you are shopping for gems, seek out a Graduate Gemologist with a diploma from the Gemological Institute of America.

Today’s wedding rings are available in a variety of finishes: polished, buff and sandblasted. Will they last? In a word, no. Precious metals are relatively soft. If you buy polished and she wants buff, they will both look about the same in a couple of years.

Gold or platinum?

Manufacturers are required to label gold according to its purity. Karat is an old standard that divides into 24 parts; 10k is 39% pure, 14k is 58% pure, 18k is 75% pure, 22k is 90% pure and 24k is 100% pure gold. 18k is the aristocrat of gold. Some U. S. jewelers will often tell you it is too soft. Though an 18k ring is a tad softer than 14k, over the years it will develop a rich, buttery patina.

Platinum is not labeled in Karats but by percentage of purity. In the United States the percentage of metal must be at least 90% before a ring can be legally labeled platinum.

A platinum ring costs at least twice the price of the same ring in 14k gold. Why? Platinum has greater density; a one-inch cube of platinum weighs 40% more than an identical cube of pure gold. Platinum is currently priced at about twice the gold price because it is used 90% pure and it is more difficult to work with.

Gold is the most plastic of metals, but platinum is the more durable. However, a heavy, high-quality ring made of either metal should last for many years.

Gem set, unique design or antique?

Be careful when buying gem set rings. Many of this type are manufactured offshore. They are cast all in one piece and the prongs that hold the stones are soft. Ask your jeweler about the manufacturing process. A yellow gold ring with yellow prongs set with white diamonds should be viewed with suspicion. High-quality rings are made in two parts with tempered die-struck prongs soldered in place. For diamonds, the prongs should be white. Beware of deals that sound too good to be true. After you replace a few stones, your great deal may turn into your worst nightmare.

If you want a unique design to symbolize your unique relationship, consider a handmade original design. Think they’re too expensive? Not necessarily. Most handmade rings are made by a goldsmith and sold directly to the consumer. Most commercially-made rings pass through several hands before reaching yours, gathering mark-ups along the way. Therefore, a handmade ring may be a better value for your money and often the craftsman will do the design work for free.

Should you buy an antique ring? By definition, an antique has been around a long time. Art-Deco period rings made in the 1920’s are very popular today. When you buy an antique you become its custodian. Jewelers will usually not warranty antique pieces so be sure to check before purchasing an antique ring. And these rings were made for women who lived a less active lifestyle. Be practical! That delicate lacy design will not last long on a woman whose hobby is rock climbing!

Most of all, these rings will be the single most enduring symbol of your love. You will wear them for many years while the wedding gown gathers mothballs in your closet. Whatever rings you choose, make sure you love them!

Richard W. Wise is a Graduate Gemologist and President of R.W. Wise, Goldsmiths, Inc. His early interest in gemstones led him to write extensively about precious stones. For more information visit his website at http://www.secretsofthegemtrade.com.

Catalogs for Shopping Freaks

by Viojieley Gurrobat

Norin fusses with samples of foundation makeup in a department store. She smears some onto one cheek. Too dark. She wrinkles her nose. The second sample doesn’t look right, either. The saleswoman at the cosmetics counter cleans Norin’s face with a tissue and applies another tone. She turns to her friend, who just shrugs. For the next sixty-five minutes, Norin fingers makeup boxes, dabs lip gloss and gazes at her tanned complexion in the mirror, searching for a new face that will give her a new identity.

With Norin’s actions it is evident that people, especially women, are very particular with what they want. They would stop at nothing just to get the right color of lipstick or the right tone of makeup. This is one of the reasons why the need for a better marketing scheme is important for every business. It is important to create name recognition and brand awareness so people would be enticed to purchase their products, thus, reducing the time customers spend in shopping.

Catalogs can be one of the most important sales tool for showcasing your products and services. They can be the tool you can use in announcing to the market what your business is all about. They can be mailed or handed out to prospects and customers. But just like any other marketing material it is essential to create a catalog that best represents the business that you have. Color choices, paper quality and printing techniques are a few of the things you need to consider in producing a good catalog.

You also need to humanize yourself and your catalog by making it seem like the catalog came from friendly and helpful people. This way your prospects will easily trust you and avail of your products. A harmonious layout can also help in creating a professional elegant look to your catalog. And including enough variety can keep the readers interested instead of becoming bored.

Likewise, the photos that you will include in the catalog need to be effectively shot. Good product photos are more than of an art than styling. Remember that readers are likely to keep away from products that they can’t even recognize in pictures. So make an effort to produce pictures that tells the readers what they need to know about the product. And make sure to throw in some extra in your catalog to make your customers happier.

And if you send Norin and other ‘Norins’ out there your catalog, perhaps the next time they think of shopping they’ll have a look at your catalog first and decide if there is something they want there before enduring in another long hours of testing and dabbing tons of makeup in their face.

Viojieley Gurrobat loves readings books in her spare time. She writes stories and poems about anything under the sun. For comments and suggestions kindly visit http://www.mypostcardprinting.com/catalog-printing-services.html

Mystery Shopping

by George Williams

There is nothing for free. But how about almost free, or free with little effort? Ah ha! Now that you’re paying attention, let’s talk about the world of Mystery Shopping.

Mystery Shopping, or being a secret shopper, is merely evaluating a product or service, and then getting paid to do it. The only stipulation is that you must be covert about it. The list of assignments is literally endless. You could be asked to go to a fast food restaurant, a clothing store, an employment agency, a car repair establishment, receive a bouquet of flowers, get your eyes checked, be a potential renter in an apartment complex, or eat out at a fine dining restaurant. Many will reimburse you for the item they required you to purchase and also give you a small bonus ($8-$15) on top of that. Sometimes you’re allowed to spend $40 for dinner and you’ll get an extra $10 if you submit your report on time. Other times you will be reimbursed only for what you purchased and that’s it. Each company compensates differently.

Like everything, there are a few downsides. Perhaps “areas of consideration” is a more appropriate word to use here. What is your time worth? Sometimes you’ll be offered a gig where you have to stay in a store for 20 minutes and interact with different employees. Then you need to come home and fill out a three page report detailing every single tidbit that happened. You may have driven 40 miles round trip and you’ll get a check for $10 when all is said and done. Consider how much your time and a tank of gasoline is worth. The assignment may fit your situation just fine. Also you may be asked to go to a boatload of fast food restaurants and purchase Crabby Patties. Now suddenly you need an entire new wardrobe because it appears your dryer is shrinking all of your pants. You just need to evaluate where you want to go and determine if you are willing to do the assignment for the agreed upon compensation.

Getting started is rather simple. Google the words “Mystery Shoppers” or “Mystery Shopping” or “Secret Shopping”. From there you’ll see a plethora of companies that work in this arena. Visit each site to sign up to become a shopper. They’ll ask you for basic contact information. Some will ask why you want to be a shopper. Others might ask for a sample of your writing. This is to insure you can complete an evaluation report. It could take 4-6 weeks before you hear back from some. Some will phone you, some will send you emails and some will send assignments in the mail (note: most have done away with snail mail assignments). Register with as many companies that interest you.

Remember. Do not pay for a guide advertised on the newspapers. All the information you need is easily available online… Free! Free! Free!

Shopping For Scooters

by James De Angelo

Once you start shopping around for scooters, you realise that there are so many selections. Even though it’s a good thing there are so many selections, it’s hard to figure out which one is good for you with all the different brands, styles and models out there. That’s why the internet is a good tool to help you in your search. There are scooter retailers and personal websites that can help you find the information that you need.

Shopping for motor scooters at the store can have you running around and wasting time, because there are many sales and deals. But using the internet helps you figure out what exactly you’re looking for and where to find it, before you go to the store. And you could even purchase it online if you wanted too. But be cautious as there are sites with inaccurate information pertaining to scooters.

So be on the look out for false information while browsing sites. It’s good to look at sites with peoples opinion on scooters which could help you decide, but make sure they have experience in scooters and know what their talking about. You could see the performance ratings on many scooters which could help you decide on a scooter more easily. Many large sites provide reviews that have been submitted by consumers who have purchased the products. These sites are usually more reliable.

Your main objective when purchasing a motor scooter is buying one that’s comfortable and fits your needs. The best to achieve this is by researching the product you want so you know what it offers and what it doesn’t. That way you can see if it’s right for you. If the scooter will be used as a commuter vehicle it could save you a lot on gas and time. Finding a good deal on the scooter by knowing what you want exactly, is the best reward.

Ask Yourself These Questions When Shopping For Cycling Jerseys

by Alastair Hamilton

Runners can run in nearly any clothing as long as they have running shoes, but bicyclists practically require the highly specialized apparel of their sport.Even casual bike riders will benefit hugely in comfort, speed, safety and satisfaction if they don cycling clothing.Your bicycle itself may demand cycling shoes and your first experience with the chafing and pounding of a bike seat may convince you to wear cycling shorts, but you should also, less obviously, ride in a cycling jersey.

Cycling jerseys will not significantly add to your speed or safety, but they will definitely enhance your total riding experience in several ways. One, they are made to help your body deal with the energy draining impact of wind and weather as you ride. Most cycling jerseys are made of synthetic fabrics that will allow your body to perspire and wick the resultant moisture efficiently from the surface of your skin. Some of today's miracle fabrics, though lightweight as can be, also work powerfully to repel water and resist wind. Combined with the fact that zippered jerseys can be easily opened or closed in the front to allow or discourage air venting, cycling jerseys add enormously to the bicyclist's ability to withstand variations in weather conditions.

What is most cherished by riders about cycling jerseys, though, is simpler. It's the famous back pocket, standard and requisite equipment of any jersey.Whether you are a touring rider, a mountain maniac, or a road racer, the back pocket of your jersey is what Mama Kangaroo's front pocket is to her joey: Life. In this pocket, you will stash energy bars, goo packets, maybe bee pollen. This is your basic on-bike sustenance kit.Into this seemingly endless storage chamber, you will stuff the gloves you no longer need now that the sun's come out, and even the cell phone prudent cyclists carry (for safety, not for idle chatter).Your litter should also be stuffed into this pocket as you consume food.It is amazing what all goes into this pocket, and all without significantly impacting the efficiency of your cycling.

So go ahead.Wear a jersey.Wear it as gaudily as you like. Gaudiness and its companion brilliance, are your birthright as a bicyclist!

Looking back to the history of shoes in the 20th century, you will know how styles will never fade away. In 1900's where shoes have definite height. Some of the shoes had five inch heels that were attached to a mid-shin length. Shoe fashion was greatly influenced by Queen Victoria. The style "didn't fade away with her death in 1901.

What Online Gifts Have Come To Mean To The Shopper

by Gina Stathopoulos

Shoppers buying online gifts last year generated $301 billion revenue. Now that shopping on the internet isn’t such a new thing as it once was, consumers feel very comfortable trusting both their credit card details and also that their recipient will receive their gift.

Shopping for online gifts rather than going to a store is very enticing…

We save money

In many cases by preferring to buy my gifts online, I’ve seen great savings. Many factors combine so that we shoppers win. The competition, the fact that merchants don’t have the same overheads as offline, and of course, from which country you are shopping from and how strong your country’s currency is.

We save time

These days we work longer hours. The time that we do have to ourselves is very precious. Buying online gifts saves me a lot of time. With all the birthdays I have to shop for and for special occasions it makes my life so much easier.

We have such a large variety of gifts

Where the shops in your area may store some items, online gifts you can find quantity, quality and variety. A good example is nautical jewelry. If you are a big fan like I am, you can find pieces created in such different designs that you won’t run out of choices.

Looking for flowers? or Gift baskets? Same thing. Shop online and choose. The choice is there.

Designers unleash their creativity to give us more

The internet has made it possible for the little guy and girl to unleash their creativity and give us shoppers more of a choice in niche gift products. Many mum and dad business are popping on the internet because the internet gives them the opportunity to do so.

I, along with a heap of my friends, are animal lovers. What better than to give your cat lover friend for her birthday a set of gold cat earrings that look like they are just handing on to her ear lobes… what cuter!

Truth is, I haven’t seen much of a variety in cat and dog jewelry until I started shopping online. Sure, you will get a few, but animal jewelry is a niche kind of gift so your variety offline will be limited. And another truth… I haven’t seen such pieces as sold online that are so eye catching.

Easier to shop for friends and family overseas

Do you remember the days when you used to send cards overseas on special occasions? Those days are gone for me. A card is nice, a gift much nicer. If you want to buy something from your country and send it overseas, it’s the postage that burns a hole in your pocket. Now with so many businesses getting online, choose a local site to the country you want to send you and your gift as well as your thoughts are on their way.

As you see, it’s not difficult for the consumer to see the wide benefits of shopping online and these are my reasons for doing so. I have been sending online gifts for over five years now.

Gift Baskets Online A Booming Market

by Domenic Teoli

Back in the old days on holidays when the Internet didn't exist, my mom would sit by the table with her empty wicker baskets that she bought at a local gift shop and would fill them up with gourmet foods, fruits , wine bottles ,and all sorts of edible goodies & toys .

I would stand next her while she would wrap those gift baskets like a kid opening up a present ,

and every time she would finish a gift basket her eyes would glitter and then she would say " Learn from mommy and one day you'll do the same " ( lol )

It Was Fun ! and above all worth it !

In those days making gift baskets was in , because buying them was not worth it , first of all , they were hard to find and second , the prices were ridiculously expensive .

Mind you ,today its still a great and fun way to give gifts , but since the Internet has arrived , gift basket sales online have boomed , its the gift of choice ONLINE because people have axis to 100s of different kinds of online gift baskets from 100s of online gift basket stores

Prices are inexpensive due to the competition , and ordering them is so convenient , with a click of a button you can send a gift basket in no time .

The online gift basket industry is increasing dramatically every year , and making them I guess is on a decline unless your are selling them .

But there's one thing that will never ever change about " The gift basket " Is whether you make them or buy gift baskets online ,they will always remain the ultimate holiday gift .

Domenic Teoli - author and writer for several gift websites, Article from http://www.buy-giftbaskets-online.com/.
